Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

It's hard to believe we have been on the road for a week now. Time flies!

On Wednesday we went into Denver to Elitch Gardens, a former Six Flags theme park. We had lots of fun on the rides, arcade & rock wall, enjoying the sun. The weirdest part of the day came when we were travelling back to Vail. The temperature dropped 40 degrees F and we had to drive through a snow storm! We were all in our shorts & t-shirts so we were glad to arrive back to our room safely.

On Thursday we decided to try our hand at paintballing...that is to say Dale & the kids suited up for a paintball game. I stayed in the cozy lodge beside the fire, with a good book and a hot chocolate with lots of taxedermied animals for company. The antler chandeliers were an interesting touch. Dale & the kids had a good time, although a little cold scurrying through a few snow flurries. (Can you guess who is who?)

Today, Friday, we packed up the van and headed further west into Utah. Again the scenery was AMAZING, and entirely different from anything else we've ever seen. Truly, God is the Souce of creativity! We are now at Bryce Canyon and will use this as our home base for the next few days.

Thanks for checking this blog and for your comments. We are all enjoying contributing to it and sharing our adventures with you! ~ Susan

Hi Hein family. The Caicco's are enjoying your blog. Truly a high tech trip. We love to hear about your adventures but we are worried about Dale puching it too much. Afterall as old as he is it may be better to keep a close eye on him. A big hug from us and our prayers are with you.

Have fun!!!!
